“LIKE A MIGHTY, RUSHING WIND”
I woke up at 1:01am this morning (6/6/17). I have been having many visions recently, and the vision has been becoming more clear over the past several days. As of this morning, I believe I fully understand what the Spirit of the Lord has been speaking to me. He is saying, “Come, come unto Me. Come up here.” In these visions, I keep seeing scrolls, chariots of fire, and the living creatures. I find myself still undone by visions of the Seraphim angel, who, in Isaiah 6 took the coal, cleaned Isaiah’s lips, and set his heart ablaze for the commission (referred to as the “burning ones”, see Isaiah 6:1-7).
As someone who often hears from the Lord through visions and dreams, it is not uncommon for me to receive words from Him in these ways. But recently I have experienced an increase in visitations of Heaven more than I typically do, and I believe the only way I can truly describe or explain these experiences is through God’s Word.
While I am still meditating heavily on the vast array of visions the Father revealed to me, I believe the scriptures below beautifully represent these visions, and are really critical scriptures for us all to meditate on in this next season. The anthem these passages represent is that God is releasing the Joel 2 visions and dream for all generations right now, and these scriptures highlight several key areas of God’s heart for us, and how we can prepare ourselves for the outpourings to come.
Here are the scriptures He immediately took me to:
“And when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb (Christ), each one holding a harp and golden bowls full of fragrant incense, which are the prayers of the saints (God’s people). And they sang a new song [of glorious redemption], saying,
“Worthy and deserving are You to take the scroll and to break its seals; for You were slain (sacrificed), and with Your blood You purchased people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. “You have made them to be a kingdom [of royal subjects] and priests to our God; and they will reign on the earth.”” (Revelation 5:8-10 AMP)
God wants us to know that He hears our prayers, and He has not forgotten His sons and daughters. The Scrolls spoken of in Revelation are like instructions for us – all of us are different, but none are left out. He’s calling us to come up and to get our hearts right before Him. He has commissioned us to go and preach the Gospel with greater fire and passion, with signs, wonders, and miracles that will follow.
I’m calling back the Priest the Levites and the Prophets to come home.
“Then He said to me, “Son of man, stand on your feet and I will speak to you.” Then as He spoke to me the Spirit entered me and set me on my feet; and I heard Him speaking to me. And He said to me, “I am sending you, son of man, to the children of Israel, to a rebellious people [in both the north and the south] that have rebelled against Me; they and their fathers have sinned and revolted against Me to this very day.
I am sending you to them who are stubborn and obstinate children, and you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God.’ As for them, whether they listen or refuse [to listen]—for they are a rebellious house—yet they will know and be fully aware of the fact that there has been a prophet among them. And you, son of man, neither fear them nor fear their words; though briars and thorns are all around you and you sit among scorpions, neither fear their words nor be dismayed at their presence, for they are a rebellious house. But you shall speak My words to them whether they will listen or refuse [to listen], for they are [most] rebellious.” (Ezekiel 2:1-7 AMP)
The Lord is urging us to go into the harvest fields, as they are plentiful. There are people in great darkness that desperately need the Light of Jesus that we carry. The winds of heaven are releasing now for us to tend to the P.L.O.W.: the Poor, Lost, Orphan, and Widow. The work we are doing amidst the least of these is the key to bring forth the greatest bumper crop harvest we’ve ever seen!
STORMS AND CONFUSION STIR, BUT HE REIGNS ABOVE ALL.
“As I looked, I saw a stormy wind coming out of the north, a great cloud with fire flashing continually from it; and a brightness was around it, and in its core [there was] something like glowing [amber-colored] metal in the midst of the fire. Within it there were figures resembling four living beings. And this was their appearance: they had human form. Each one had four faces and four wings. Their legs were straight and the soles of their feet were like a calf’s hoof, and they sparkled and gleamed like shiny bronze. Under their wings on their four sides they had human hands. As for the faces and wings of the four of them, their wings touched one another; their faces did not turn when they moved, each went straight forward.
Regarding the form and appearance of their faces: they [each] had the face of a man [in front], and each had the face of a lion on the right side, and the face of an ox on the left side; all four also had the face of an eagle [at the back of their heads]. Such were their faces. Their wings were stretched out upward; two [wings] of each one were touching another [the wings of the beings on either side of it], and [the remaining] two [wings of each being] were covering their bodies. And each went straight forward; wherever the spirit was about to go, they would go, without turning as they went. Among the living beings there was something that looked like burning coals of fire, like torches moving back and forth among the living beings. The fire was bright, and lightning was flashing from the fire. And the living beings moved rapidly back and forth like flashes of lightning.”
Now as I looked at the living beings, I saw one wheel on the ground beside the living beings, for each of the four of them. Regarding the appearance of the wheels and their construction: they gleamed like chrysolite (beryl, olivine); and the four were made alike. Their appearance and construction were a wheel [set at a right angle] within a wheel. Whenever they moved, they went in any [one] of their four directions without turning as they moved. Regarding their rims: they were so high that they were awesome and dreadful, and the rims of all four of them were full of eyes all around. Whenever the living beings moved, the wheels moved with them; and when the living beings rose from the earth, the wheels rose also. Wherever the spirit went, the beings went in that direction. And the wheels rose along with them; for the spirit or life of the living beings was in the wheels. Whenever those went, these went; and whenever those came to a stop, these came to a stop; and whenever those rose from the earth, the wheels rose close beside them, for the spirit of the living beings was in the wheels.”
“Now stretched over the heads of the living beings there was something like an expanse, looking like the terrible and awesome shimmer of icy crystal. Under the expanse their wings were stretched out straight, one toward another. Every living being had two wings which covered its body on one side and on the other side. As they moved, I also heard the sound of their wings like the sound of great [rushing] waters, like the voice of the Almighty, the sound of tumult like the noise of an army camp. Whenever they came to a stop, they lowered their wings. And there was a voice above the expanse that was over their heads; whenever they stopped, they lowered their wings.
Now above the expanse that was over their heads there was something resembling a throne, it appeared like [it was made of] sapphire or lapis lazuli; and [seated] on that which looked like a throne, high up, was a figure with the appearance of a man. Now upward, from that which appeared to be His waist, I saw something like glowing metal that looked like it was filled with fire all around it; and downward, from that which appeared to be His waist, I saw something like fire; and there was a brightness and a remarkable radiance [like a halo] around Him. As the appearance of the rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the surrounding radiance. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory and brilliance of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell face downward and I heard a voice of One speaking.” (Ezekiel 1:4-28)
The four living creatures’ appearances include faces of a man, a lion, an ox, and an eagle. There is strong, prophetic symbolism in these images. The face of a man represents us, humankind. We are the workers in the field, helping tend and bring forth the harvest. The face of a lion represents Christ, the Lion of Judah who breaks chains, every demonic curse, and every assignment!
The face of the ox serves as a reminder of breakthrough, as the ox pulls the plow to break up the fallow ground for harvest. He is carrying in the P.L.O.W. (Poor, Lost, Orphan, and Widow). The eagle represents divine perspective and vision. As the eagle soars, flying higher and higher, He brings clarity and vision to the Seer, the Prophets.
Just like the soil being turned in the harvest fields, the upheaval right now in the world means that nations and continents are under great attack. The storms are becoming more fervent. The enemy is on a rampage to destroy our faith. The word in Ezekiel reminds us that God is ruler and judge; He reigns over the courtroom of heaven, and the enemy is the Prosecutor. Many people, especially in Western culture, can’t wrap their minds around the supernatural, but the word says “a great cloud with fire flashing continually from it; and a brightness was around it, and in its core [there was] something like glowing [amber-colored] metal in the midst of the fire. Within it there were figures resembling four living beings.”
Ezekiel goes on to describe in great detail what was revealed to him, and what he saw was nothing short of supernatural. Supernatural activity is all around us, and the sooner we are able to acknowledge and embrace that truth, the sooner we are able to understand how God speaks His mysteries to us through the supernatural.
The Four Chariots.
“Now again I looked up, and four chariots were coming out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of [firm, immovable] bronze (divine judgment). The first chariot had red horses (war, bloodshed), the second chariot had black horses (famine, death), the third chariot had white horses (victory), and the fourth chariot had strong dappled horses (death through judgment). Then I said to the angel who was speaking with me, “What are these, my lord?” The angel answered me, “These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go out after presenting themselves before the Lord of all the earth, with the chariot with the black horses going toward the north country; then the one with the white horses follows after them [because there are two northern powers to overcome], and the chariot with the dappled horses goes toward the south country.” When the strong horses went out, they were eager to patrol the earth. And the Lord said, “Go, patrol the earth.” So they patrolled the earth [watching and protecting it]. Then He called out to me and said to me, “See, those who are going to the north country have quieted My Spirit [of wrath] in the north country.” (Zechariah 6:1-8 AMP)
In the vision I had today, chariots of fire rode in swiftly across the sky and into the heavenlies. I then saw His Divine glory shatter the thrones of the 2nd heaven. I knew immediately in my spirit that God was saying that H
